Rare Pandur sword Austria / Hungary 1740 – 48
 
This rare sword with blade engraved “Vivat Pandur” and with an image of Pandur soldier to each side.
The regiment was raised 1740 – 48 by Franz Baron von der Trenck, to fight in the War of Austrian succession  
Total length 66cm. Blade length 51cm.
Condition – Very good overall, old small repair to the top of the scabbard.
