Imperial German WWI Artillery Officer's Sword by Simson
 
All steel sword with bakelite grip, the blade engraved behind the langet “Simson & Co” edge of blade marked “W15” for Kaiser Wilhelm 1915. Various seal and proof marks to the hilt and blade. This sword is known as a bleucher sable.
 
Condition – Good original, dark patina, light pitting, blade very good, small edge nick
