Fine Scottish Presentation Silver Mounted Dirk
 
Inscription reads “Presented by Lord A Fitzclarence to John Stewart September 10 1847”. Tooled leather scabbard with unmarked silver fittings. Carved wooden grip with silver pins. Blade marked Hodge Inverness. Overall fine condition. Total length 46cm. Adolphus Fitzclarence 1802 – 1856 was a British Naval Officer and the illegitimate son of King William IV.
