Continental Hanger Sword French Revolution Period Circa 1780
 
Brass hilted hanger with lions head pommel, wire bound leather grip with wide slightly curved blade. I believe it dates to around 1780, possibly French
 
Condition – staining and some light pitting to the blade, slight play in the hilt. Basically in good original condition
 
Dimensions – overall length 73 cm, blade length 59 cm, width of blade at widest point 4.7 cm
