British Napoleonic 1803 Pattern Blue & Gilt Infantry Officers sword 
 
Leather scabbard with brass fittings, brass hilt with lions head pommel and George III royal monogram. Fish skin grip, blade with remnants of blue & gilt. Top scabbard mount engraved 'Goldneys Late Nield St James's Strt Sword Cutler to HRH the Prince of Wales'.
 
Condition – most of the wire binding is missing from the grip, hilt loose, discolouration and rusting to blade, stitching good to scabbard, small dents to scabbard fittings. Original frog stud intact
