18th / 19th century Naval Cat O’Nine Tails
 
An interesting item used among H.M Royal Navy in the 18th & 19th centuries as a form of punishment. Wooden handle with nine knotted “tails”. Weight approx. 190 grams
Condition – Good original condition - although one of the tails is almost detached from the handle.
